We've arrived!

Good morning, America! I think it's about 4:30 a.m. EST. I couldn't go to bed before leaving an update on our wonderful day of travel. Everything has gone so smoothly from the time we left the house at 7 am on Friday, to arriving at our hotel here in Seoul. I still can't believe we're here.

Our 14hr flight was easier than expected. It started out well with a Korean woman checking us into our flight who was wearing a lanyard that said "I love Jesus". It was a reminder to us that the Lord is watching over us on this journey & that so prayers are accompanying us. THANK YOU! The food on the flight was great. For "lunch" we had the option of a Korean meal called Bibimbap or beef with mashed potatoes. My meat-and-potatoes-husband chose the latter. ;) The time went pretty quickly, thanks to movies & video games. I'm glad we got to practice doing this flight on our own, before we have Ty with us. Should be interesting! In an answer to many prayers ... I had ZERO ear pain on the descent. Yay!

We won't be able to leave daily messages, as expected, due to the daily $ rate $ for WiFi at the hotel. We'll still be leaving updates, though, as BIG things happen. (We're 14hrs. Ahead of EST.) We have our appt. to meet Ty & the foster mom on Mon. at 1:20, Korea time. We'll tour around on Tues., & Have him for real on Wed. We're so close we can feel it! Looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful country in the next few days.

In His Grace,
C & D
