This day has been one incredible thing after another. The best thing of all was meeting our son. After a 45min. taxi ride with our case worker / translator, we arrived at the home of the foster family, and Ty was standing near the front door to greet us. It was the most wonderful, exciting, sweet, peaceful, enlightening hour and 45min. with we've ever had. Ty is a friendly, engaging, funny, sweet, cute, curious, toddler. We learned so much about him, and have SO much to learn. We wrote down some key words / phrases in Korean to help with his transition and understanding when we take over at 1:30pm on Wed.! We learned that he likes new toys, music, singing, dancing, eating, hugs & kisses (which we took full advantage of!), being tickled, being chased ... the list goes on. Should it surprise us that the day exceeded our expectations? Thank you, Lord!
There is so much more I could write about our Tuesday, but I need to end here, since it's getting late, & we don't expect to get much sleep tomorrow (Wed.) night, with an active toddler to think about! We're planning to arrive home as scheduled on Thurs.
Love from C&D ... Now, we're 3!

Praise God! I am so happy for you. It is a wonderful blessing that you were able to go to the foster family's house as well. (we were not able to do that but all our other prayers were answered!) I am delighted to hear how sweet and loving he is, just like his parents! Wonderful blessings and prayers for a safe transition tomorrow and smooth flight home! Enjoy your time as 3 because once you get home, EVERYONE is going to want to see you all...but we will respect your time alone too! :-)
