Love him like crazy.

It's Carrie this time. I decided to take a few minutes to let people know that we're still alive, but going through the expected adjustments; to each other & to some sort of schedule. People keep reassuring us that this, too, will pass. I think we're making a little progress with getting him onto EST, but Dana & I are still doing sleep-shifts so that one can play/feed, while the other sleeps.

But, even when we're feeling sleep-deprived Ty makes life so joyful. He has such a funny bone & a great laugh. I'm so glad he doesn't mind lots of hugs & kisses, because I can't seem to give him enough of them! It's great to see him getting familiar with our home & definitely bonding with both of us. What a thrill to be the recipient of the open arms saying, "I want you to hold me, mommy"!

He was new to using stairs when he arrived here, but is now quite the expert at going UP the stairs & prefers to jump into our arms in order to get down. It's usually accompanied by hysterical laughter!
We hope you enjoy a few new pictures. We'll try to do postings here & there as we're able. Thanks, again, for all your love & prayers for us on this new chapter in our lives.

  1. Dear Ty: Grandma Leslie is praying for you tonight that you know how much we all love you and have prayed a long time for you to be part of our family. Can't wait to teach you how to grow organic veggies and cross country ski. Most of all we look forward to teaching you about Jesus.
    Love, Halmunee Cheryl
P.S. Sleep well and long tonight and stay up all day tomorrow--:) Hugs and kisses xoxoxoxox
