Our favorite little face

Ty is quite camera-shy, so it's really tough to get pictures of him smiling. Mommy had to be a little sneaky to try to catch him in mid-laughter. He brings us such joy and makes us laugh with the funny things he comes up with. He must know what a cutie he is!

We are enjoying a better sleep schedule & look forward to finding that "routine" for our little family. We are still experimenting with what foods Ty will eat & have found that he'll try almost anything if it is topped with sliced cheese! Yogurt & bananas are also a big hit.

He had a great 1st check-up with his doctor on Thurs. She was very impressed with his intellect & developmental progress. (So are we.) We will make a return trip to the office sometime next week for blood work. Boo hoo. I'm already dreading it. It's one of those hard things about being a mommy, I guess. Maybe I need to put my nurse hat back on so I can get through it!?

Monday the 18th will be the start of my "stay-at-home-mom" career. Dana will be returning to work & Ty & I will be figuring things out together. I'm already getting invitations for play-dates, which is fun. To help with his adjustment, I think we'll have his little friends come play at "Ty's house", rather than introduce him to too many new things right now. We are so excited to incorporate him into our world of loving friends and family.
